I want to sincerely thank Purpose Built Communities for the opportunity to serve as the Featured Gullah Geechee Chef at the Lift Every Voice and Sing 2026 Purpose Built Communities Conference rooftop Welcome Reception here in Jacksonville. It meant so much to present an authentic Gullah Geechee culinary experience and share the richness of our foodways.

Thank you as well to you, LIFT JAX and Florida for including me in the OutEast neighborhood block party. I was proud to be there as a vendor, showcasing our local Gullah Geechee Green Legacy Farm and Farmery products.

This is close to my heart. Being a resident with six generations rooted in the OutEast community, it is always an honor to share my culture and family traditions through food.
