We’re still talking about Oktoberfest, because you are!

The support and feedback has blown us away. What started with a couple vendors on Court St. three years ago grew into something beyond our wildest dreams, all thanks to our team and community.

It grew FAST, and we’re working hard to grow with it while staying true to who we are. We’ll always prioritize the Clove Hitch vision, our community, and the bigger picture for Downtown. We’ll never sell out, and we’ll keep pushing for positive changes with lasting impacts.

And those changes are happening! Bollards are being installed on Court St. this week, work continues to make the Social District a regular experience, and we didn’t settle for pavement on Court Street.

There’s still work to do, but there’s a whole lot to celebrate.

*Roll Credits*

The Third Annual Downtown Oktoberfest was unreal.

The local businesses, vendors, musicians and staff that participated were incredible.

And every single person who came downtown, grabbed a b**r, ate some food, shopped with our vendors, listened to live music and spent the day with us made this event what it was.

We kicked 57 kegs. We packed the streets. We saw a whole lot of familiar faces and a whole lot of new ones. And somehow, year three felt even bigger and more fun than we imagined it would.

There are a lot of people behind the scenes who put time, work and trust into making something like this happen, and we genuinely can’t thank you all enough.

Downtown Jacksonville showed up.

To our staff, you absolutely crushed it.

To the businesses that opened their doors and jumped in with us, thank you.

To the City of Jacksonville, thank you for putting up with the endless texts, emails and phone calls. Thank you for helping us pilot the Social District, and working with us to shut down the streets and make this whole thing happen.

We really hope this is just the start of something great for Downtown Jacksonville.

To every vendor, musician, artist, food truck and person who helped bring the streets to life, thank you.

And to everyone who spent your Saturday hanging out in the street with us… we hope you had as much fun as we did.

Year three is officially in the books.

Now we have to figure out how the hell we’re going to top it next year.

57 KEGS LATER… THANK YOU, JACKSONVILLE!

That’s a wrap on our 3rd Annual Downtown Oktoberfest.

We have SO much to say, but for now, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

To our incredible Clove Hitch team, our Overruled crew, our event staff, our amazing vendors, our fellow Downtown brick and mortars, and every single person who showed up today, THANK YOU.

Our b**r lines were long. We saw them, we felt them, and we took notes. Next year, more bartenders, more tablets, more cups. We’re already learning and planning.

A huge shoutout to the City of Jacksonville for the support in helping us bring this day to Downtown.

It was one hell of a day.

Get some rest, Jacksonville. We’re going to do the same.

Vendors will be here until 7pm, Social District will continue until 9pm, bar is open until 11!

Oktoberfest KICKS OFF AT 11AM!

Thank you to all 100+ runners who showed up for our Oktoberfest B**r Mile today!

Huge shoutout to Fleet Feet Jacksonville for organizing everything, a giant thank you to all of the Clove Hitch Run Club members who ran, set up, poured b**r and cheered everyone on!

Our staff killed it tonight and they’re ready for the main event!

We’ll be back at it tomorrow with 60+ vendors, downtown businesses, food trucks and restaurants ready to make this 3rd Annual festival the best one yet!

Let’s do this Jacksonville!!

Road Closure on Court Street for Oktoberfest celebration:

The Oktoberfest Social District will be in effect Friday, September 25 between 4pm-9pm and on Saturday, September 26 between 11am-9pm (see map image) If you are driving downtown please note that Court Street between Railroad St and Old Bridge St will be closed to traffic.

For those enjoying the Oktoberfest celebration, here are a few tips:
1. Alcoholic Beverages may be consumed only within the social district layout and in approved Social District cups only
2. All businesses within the social district will have signage clearly displayed on if they are a participating business for the consumption of alcohol within their business.
3. Please be respectful of the City and the downtown businesses by properly disposing of alcoholic beverages and please drink responsibly.
