We have a new way of processing credit and debit cards. If you are using credit, the standard 3.5% will be added to your total. However, if you have a debit card it can NOT be run as credit because we cannot control the 3.5% fee. Our old system was set up by our provider, we had no knowledge that surcharging was illegal on debit card transactions, because we were never told how our system worked. We have received a fine from VISA and our system has been changed. You will no longer be charged the 3.5% if you are using your debit card. HOWEVER, your DEBIT CARD PIN WILL BE REQUIRED AT TIME OF PAYMENT.
We really want to apologize for even having to apply a surcharge to our transactions, but the fees on our end are just getting more and more ridiculous.
Please be patient with us as we transition to this new system. If you do not know your PIN, please update it and be prepared to enter it when coming in.
