It’s Fair Week!

This is the week these kids have been working toward all year. While most people only see a few minutes in the show ring, they don’t see the early mornings, late nights, feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, and the countless hours spent caring for and training their animals.

Good luck to all of the exhibitors this week! Your project is something to be proud of, you’ve already accomplished something special.🍀

Today, Lucas (8) is running the skid steer, and Mason (13) is running the hay wrapper. They’re not just helping on the farm—they’re learning responsibility, problem-solving, and the value of hard work.

We talk a lot about supporting local agriculture.

The truth is, local communities thrive when farmers, small businesses, and families all support each other.

So this morning we made a quick trip to Four Mile Bakery and came home with more donuts than we probably needed.

Then again, after one bite, it’s pretty easy to understand how that happened.

We’re blessed to have neighbors who take as much pride in their craft as they do. If you haven’t stopped in and tried their donuts, do yourself a favor and fix that.

Supporting local has never tasted so good. 🍩
