HELP US HELP COLOMBIA

Our dear friends in Colombia, have just experienced tragedy in the form of a major earthquake. Much of the brilliant coffee you’ve come to love from the producers in this gorgeous country comes from this region.

To help with recovery efforts we have decided to donate 10% of proceeds from retail bag sales of single origin Colombian coffees on our online store at Northshore.Coffee through the end of September!

With each bag you buy, you can know that you are helping provide relief for the region your coffee comes from. Also, if you feel you’d like to just donate to the efforts yourself, shoot us a DM and we’ll be happy to share the GoFundMe that our good friend Sara Bedoya set up for these efforts.

IMPACT AT ORIGIN: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Did you know that Northshore is building a coffee processing mill?

In partnership with Hispaniola Mountain Ministries, we’re so excited to be very close to the completion of a processing mill for the devoted producers of Polo, DR!

Under the name, Hispaniola Mountain Coffee, this mill will provide higher wages during harvest season, education surrounding specialty production, and exposure for the beautiful work of these producers.

We’ll have news surrounding our first harvest soon, but, if you want to get involved in the meantime, you can support the project by drinking our COSECHAS BLEND! (10% of each sale goes directly to efforts on the island)
