It’s with a mix of excitement and reflection that I announce I’m selling The Apron Restaurant in Jackson, MI. After five years of passion and dedication I have decided it’s time to embark on the next chapter. I’m looking for someone to take over and continue this journey. It’s not about business owners trying to make a buck. Most are trying to survive and stay ahead of new regulations, wages, and product pricing.

January 2020, a box of 15 dozen eggs cost $9.99. We would go through 7-10 boxes a week. Over the course of two years they have steadily risen to $35, $50, $75 & even $85. Within the last couple of months prices have stayed in the mid $60’s per box.

They are now $70 a box for medium eggs
$90 for large eggs per 15 dozen.

A box of 30 dozen, depending on the size of the egg is $175-$244 per box.
