Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸
Today, July 4th, 2026, we celebrate 250 years of this country!! 250 years of freedom, courage, sacrifice, hard work, dreams, struggle, resilience, and hope.
America has never been perfect, but she has always been worth believing in. She is the stories of our grandparents and great-grandparents. She is small towns, big cities, front porches, church bells, corner stores, family tables, soldiers who never came home, farmers in the field, workers on the line, mothers praying, fathers building, children dreaming, and communities coming together when times get hard.
She is the right to keep trying. The right to speak. The right to worship. The right to build something from nothing. The right to chase a dream even when the road is long.
Today I’m thankful for every person who helped build this country, every veteran who defended it, every family who sacrificed for it, and every American still working to make it better.
Celebrating from historic George Street in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. ❤️🤍💙
My family and I will be attending
Stars, Stripes & Symphony with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra tonight at the Two Mississippi Museums’ Entergy Plaza, 222 North Street, Jackson, MS 39201, just about 4 minutes from George Street.
The event is from 5 PM – 9 PM, with the symphony beginning at 7:30 PM and fireworks at dark. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy a beautiful night in downtown Jackson.
George Street will open at 9:30 PM following the event.
Support Jackson. Celebrate safely. Love your people. Honor this country. And let’s keep showing up for this city we love.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday.
Hope to see y’all at the Two Mississippi Museums!!
May we never forget where we came from.May we honor those who came before us.May we take care of each other better. And may God continue to bless the United States of America.
Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸
