MATCHA COLD FOAM SHAKES today!! Get the matcha cold foam on top of any flavor milkshake, we recommend strawberry! 🤤🤤🫠

Also how AMAZING is our mural coming from !! We talked about adding stripes last week and I requested blue and orange as an homage to the iconic colors and I think it turned out FABULOUSLY!! Please tag us in the photos you take with it as a background, I’ll never get tired of looking at it!

I’ve been working on making ice cream today and will tomorrow so we should have some homemade hard ice cream ready by Wednesday! Thanks all for understanding!!

So. Ok. *Sigh.*

We’ve had SUCH a weird year as far as hard ice cream goes and when we finally got our shipment in last week from our manufacturer (it was super late this year since we had only just got in our new walk in freezer), customers noticed pretty quickly that it wasn’t up to our usual standard of deliciousness. We’ve spoken to the manufacturer this week and they will be remaking all of it for us, woo hoo! Our plan was to have a couple set flavors that they make in bulk (cause let’s face it, I can’t do the same thing over and over again) and then they will also make my recipe’s ice cream mix so I can still do rotating fun flavors in small batches (since I don’t have the Tburg shop anymore to pasteurize it myself). But now that got pushed back once again.

So. Instead of depriving the hard ice cream diehards even longer, our friends at the legendary quickly ran us over some of their ice cream, so we’ll have their Vanilla, Green Tea, and Chocolate Mint Oreo flavors since they’re the closest to what our hard flavor menu will be! We’ll have these through the weekend, and then and I will make our flavors starting next week with just the generic ice cream base most places use (and how I started making ice cream with too)! THEN I’ll let you know when our own recipe comes in and those set flavors are back.

Phew!

It’s almost SHOW TIME!! The Empire Plate will be here by 3:30 and I made them (and all of you!) the BEST treats!! We have my most delicious ever Italian Rainbow Ice Cream Sandwiches, Sugar Cookies and Warm Caramel Ice Cream Parfaits, Peanut Butter Cup Brownies made with our fudge brownies, a layer of homemade pb cup filling, and topped with chocolate ganache, and so many kinds of ice cream cake slices! Two have brownies inside (one with fudge and vanilla ice cream and one with peanut butter, fudge and chocolate ice cream), the two Berry and orange vanilla one from yesterdays post and a couple sugar cookie ones from the weekend!

Come between 3:30-5 if you want a chance to be on camera! And go check out their YouTube channel for full videos, they go around New York State and film food shows at tons of mom and pop restaurants and eateries! Really fun show!

Our shop is getting so much more beautiful, will be here all week painting a mural for us! Geneva worked for us for several years and even was the only employee ever to work at all three of our shops!! We are ecstatic to be able to support her art career!

We have her here JUST in time for The Empire Plate to be here!! They’ll be here TOMORROW so if you want to be in a video for our shop, come on over between 3:30-4:30! We’ll also have AWESOME specials for it like Peanut Butter Cup Brownies, my infamous Rainbow Italian Ice Cream Sandwich cookies, and some ice cream cakes with a BROWNIE layer!!

Speaking of ice cream cakes- we do have one as a special today even though our specials board is down. If you can’t decide between our Two Berry Twist or our Orange Vanilla Twist, this one’s for you! It has layers of both with a chocolate cookie crunch center!

LOOK AT THIS FUDGE FROSTING!!! I just bought a vat of nostalgic chocolate frosting for our ice cream cakes and it’s SO GOOD! Come and get a slice of Chocolate and M&Ms ice cream cake with chocolate cookie crunch, hot fudge, and twist ice cream with this on top!

It’s chilly but gorgeous out, come on over while you’re walking around the festival!

ITHACA FESTIVALLLLL!!! We have such yummy goodies for you as you walk around !! First, we have HARD ICE CREAM SCOOPS!! We have Sweet Cream, Tea & Cookies, Oatmeal Scotchie Batter, Peppermint Chip, and our rotating made in house vegan flavors are Vegan Coconut and Vegan Biscoff cookie!

I also made a YUMMMMY cola syrup which is citrusy and spiced and SO DELICIOUS and you can get it as a float with soda water and vanilla soft serve! It doesn’t taste like Coke or Pepsi per se, but it’s VERY tasty! You can also add some of our cherry milkshake syrup to make a cherry cola float! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

AND I made an ice cream cake with our leftover sugar cookies!!

Love this weekend! We’re open normal hours 1-9, cash only!

WE HAVE HARD ICE CREAM!! Just in time for weekend!!! Just in pints today with Peppermint Chip, Sweet Cream, and Oatmeal Scotchie Batter and *hopefully* tomorrow with scoops! It’s still a little icy and needs to come to temperature for cones! We will also have TEA & COOKIES in scoops and we’ll have these four flavors for at least through June if not longer!! We do have a Vegan Coconut and Vegan Biscoff Cookie for cones as of today!

Our second announcement of the day is that we are going to be filming with The Empire Plate next Wednesday, June 3! Come on down around 3:45/4 pm if you want to be in the footage!! I talked to Bill last year about being on his show, and I’m so so excited- he’s so positive and loves supporting small businesses so I thought it’d be a perfect fit to have him and his crew here! Gotta make some yummy goodies to showcase for that day as well!

Also, don’t you love our new pink door??? I’m OBSESSED! If you’ve met me or seen me, you’ve seen me and my naturally pink hair color! 😉 (Thanks for making that a reality !! 😍)

Happy Memorial Day! We’ve already been so busy so I haven’t had time to post! I made PEACH COBBLER!!!! Now that we have a warmer I can make cobblers to keep them nice and warm! I used a recipe for a hot water crust that my neighbor turned me onto and I LOVE IT!! This probably won’t last long since people have already been ordering it and I haven’t even said anything about it!!

I also made brownies but we don’t have room on the Specials board, but you can order a brownie sundae too!!

Thanks for coming out Ithaca, let’s enjoy that sunshine!
