We will be distributing the new books tomorrow at Durkees, The Island Market, the Town Office and quite possible a few other spots around town. Get yours soon as supplies are limited.

Happy Hump Day! I keep seeing more and more coming out about cyclospora outbreaks … and it makes me very nervous. It can be deadly and I just keep thinking about that. So - we are discontinuing the Wedge Salad for now. We will continue our Caesar Salad with romaine from Growing Things on Isleboro. I’ve long been about organic and trusted food sources, and now y’all on the journey, too! I’m dreaming of substitutions … Caprese? Pesto Pasta? Corn Salad? I’ll let you know tomorrow!

Sooooooo … nita here. With Maine now being classified as an unlucky member of the cyclospora outbreak states ( thanks Jane for the heads up!) we are pivoting for Thursday. I’m out of state for work so this is what’s going to happen Thursday:

- no wedge. Iceberg is considered a culprit in the outbreak and we won’t take that chance!
- Caesar salad with romaine lettuce from Growing Things. We’ll have to figure out the price … despite free labor, we need to cover costs!
