Peyton is a junior in high school, and when she’s not helping serve up treats at Granny’s, she loves acting and theater!

And with all the different flavors, toppings, tacos, nachos, stackers, and other treats to choose from, what’s Peyton’s favorite?

She keeps it classic.

Meet the guy behind the camera!

You may have noticed Tim from Northland Lens hanging around Granny’s lately with a camera in his hand! Tim has been helping us tell the Granny’s story through photos, videos, behind-the-scenes looks, and the people who make this place special.

At NorthlandLens.com, Tim tells the stories of life in Vermont’s North Country through photography, local features, interviews, and community coverage.

He also works with local businesses like Granny’s to help them tell their stories through photography, social media, and ongoing content.

We’re excited to have Northland Lens helping tell our story — and we thought it was time you met the storyteller!

They start right here at Granny’s! Fresh waffle batter hits the iron, gets cooked until golden, and while each waffle is still warm, it’s shaped into the perfect little taco shell.

Then they’re ready for the really good part… ICE CREAM!

What’s Good at Granny’s? Check the Freezer!

You already know you can stop by Granny’s for a cone, creemee, sundae, or one of our other treats—but you should check out what’s waiting in the freezer this week!

We’ve been busy making up some goodies you can grab and enjoy, including:

Ice Cream Cakes — like this one made with yellow cake and layers of American Dream ice cream: vanilla ice cream with a blue frosting swirl and star-themed sprinkles!

Chocolate-Dipped Wafer Ice Cream Sandwiches — crispy wafers dipped in chocolate with ice cream sandwiched right in the middle.

Ready-to-Go Waffle Cone Treats — pre-made waffle cones filled with ice cream and toppings, ready when you are.

And that’s not all you might find in there! The freezer is a good place to look when you want something a little different—or a treat you can grab now and enjoy later.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION — MEET THE GRANNIES!

There are plenty of smiling faces behind the counter at Granny’s Scoops, but today we’d like you to meet “The Grannies!”

From left to right: Kathy, Paula & Cheryl — a trio who share a whole lot of history, friendship, laughter…and, of course, ice cream!

Kathy is a longtime friend of Paula and Cheryl — “friends forever,” as they put it! Her Granny’s favorite is Toasted Coconut with Chocolate, also known as Almond Joy.

Paula is Granny herself — the Granny behind the name Granny’s Scoops!

And Cheryl is Paula’s mother, making her the original granny of this crew! Her favorite flavor is Red Raspberry Revolution.

These three love working together, have been part of each other’s lives for years, and bring plenty of fun and friendship behind the counter.

So the next time you stop in and see these three together, you’ll know…

Rhylee is taking us behind the counter to show you how we make our Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Nachos!

It starts with creamy ice cream, followed by plenty of Oreo-style cookie crumbles and chocolate syrup. Then come the crispy waffle chips for scooping up all that goodness — finished with just a little more chocolate drizzle.

Crunchy. Creamy. Chocolatey. And definitely made for sharing… although we won’t judge if you keep them all to yourself!

Today is National Waffle Day, but one day just doesn’t seem like enough around here… So we’re making it WAFFLE WEEK at Granny’s Scoops! And waffles at Granny’s mean a whole lot more than breakfast:

Grab your favorite scoop in a crispy waffle cone.

Try an ice cream taco, loaded with ice cream and all kinds of deliciousness.

Or dig into ice cream nachos—ice cream, toppings, and plenty of crunchy waffle pieces for scooping it all up!
