You’re 30 minutes from Yellowstone’s west entrance, so there’s always a trail or a river waiting. But on some evenings this is the best part of the day.. the settling around the firepits with friends and stranger who become friends.

On a scale of 1 to 10, we would give this place an 11! We loved staying in our quaint Aspen cabin.
Perfect for two people visiting Yellowstone National Park. The grounds are spotless and the cabin and facilities are well maintained. Reasonable prices, a nice breakfast, pizza restaurant, and super, friendly staff! Lots of free amenities and stuff to do at the resort. Only a 30 minute drive to west Yellowstone. This was definitely one of the bright spots in our vacation!

The best wildlife hour in Yellowstone happens before most guests have had coffee.
Roll out early, watch the valley wake up and be back at Blue Buffalo Resort well before the afternoon crowds.

The Aspen Studio Cabin now comes with a desk.
We heard our guests requests for a desk in these cabins and we got to work!
Cozy bed, European shower/bathroom, smart TV , A/C and heat, fast WiFi , mini fridge, coffee maker and a microwave. ( and a hot breakfast with every stay)
Voila : the upgraded Aspen!

Happy 110th birthday to the National Park Service.

To mark it, entrance to the parks is free today for U.S. residents, Yellowstone included.
If you’ve been waiting for a reason to go watch the geysers and the bison do their thing, consider this it.
The west entrance is about 30 minutes from our front porch, so you could be inside the park before your coffee gets cold.

We’ll leave the light on for whenever you wander back.
