Does it matter if coffee shops make their own syrups? 🤔

There’s so much work that goes into the coffee at specialty coffee shops, but why stop at the coffee? A lot of our guests order their coffee with syrup. Our syrup program started because at the time we couldn’t find a syrup that didn’t have any additives in it and was flavored with real ingredients. It felt wrong not only offering to our honored guests, but to mix with the coffee we worked so hard on.

After years of trial and error we came up with syrups we could not only put in all our drinks in-cafe, but bottle for you to take home with you! We’re also working on a wholesale program for any cafe who was like us originally; looking for a quality syrup to mix with the coffee they worked so hard on!

But going back to the original question, does it matter if coffee shops make their own syrups? The truth is just because a cafe makes it in house doesn’t mean it’s high quality, but we found most of the time it does! Regardless if it’s house made or not, what matters are the ingredients in the bottle. 🫶

Replacing caramel syrup with house-made Brown Sugar syrup!

Caramel was one of the few syrups we offered in-cafe that we didn’t make in-house and didn’t fit our standard of real ingredients only. After looking for an alternative that fit our “real ingredient only” standard and not finding one, we made our own version! 🕊️🫶

A caramel substitute that doesn’t contain corn syrup, artificial ingredients, “natural” flavors, or preservatives! 🤎

Brown Sugar syrup - made with brown sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Available in cafe or online!

Brown sugar latte - espresso, milk, brown sugar syrup or sub for matcha!

We created this syrup because of the multiple requests we’ve gotten for a brown sugar latte. Let us know what other flavors you’d be interested in seeing us create! 🫶

Instead of creating a completely new flavor, this month our focus was to make the best version of a classic. Brown sugar alone is amazing, but we found adding vanilla and a pinch of salt emphasized the deep molasses flavor in brown sugar we were looking for.

Created for people who love brown sugar lattes! 🫶

We hope our version stands out from the rest. We think the vanilla bean and pinch of salt made a big difference, but let us know what you think!
