Benvenuti to our new menus! 🍝

If the cover looks familiar, it should. We put Gato Leyva's mural from the side of our building right on the front, so a little piece of downtown Ironton greets you every time you sit down with us.

We want to be upfront with our neighbors: along with the new look, you'll notice some price changes. Like a lot of local restaurants, we've seen the cost of ingredients and supplies go up, and we've worked hard to keep changes as small as we could while never cutting corners on what goes on your plate. Same recipes, same care, same team you know.

This week's specials are here, and we think you're going to love them.

The Pollo Rosa is back on the board, alongside a rich Seafood Alfredo and our Eggplant Parmesan, layered and baked until the cheese turns golden. And for something a little special, the Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli is one you'll want to share (but probably won't).

Every special comes with your choice of a side salad or a cup of soup. This week's soups are Tuscan Bean & Sausage, Shrimp & Corn Chowder, Italian Wedding, and Stuffed Pepper. With the weather cooling down, it's the perfect time for a warm bowl.

Save room for tiramisu. You know you want to. 🍷

Meet the Team: Matt Fisher

Say hello to Matt! He joined the Melini family just two weeks ago and is already fitting right in.

Matt hails from Jackson, Ohio. When he's not here with us, you might find him playing video games, or slamming people in the ring. Matt has been a pro wrestler since 2017 and is currently training right here in town at Wrestleland in Ironton. 💪

His favorite meal? A good sirloin steak. A man who knows what he likes.

Our late-night hours are changing. You'll now find us firing pizzas and pouring drinks Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 12am.

Same menu, same full bar, same good company. Just an earlier last call, so come see us a little sooner.

Our dining room sounded a little different last night. The click of tiles, a whole lot of laughter, and every so often, somebody calling "Mahjong!" 🀄

We had the pleasure of hosting the Ashland, Kentucky Mahjong Dinner Club for their October meeting. They crossed the river with their mats, their tiles, and a few feather boas, and filled the room with the kind of energy we wish we could bottle. 🌸

Dinner came first, 🍝 from bruschetta and homemade breadsticks to cannoli and cheesecake. We even renamed a few cocktails for the occasion: the Green Dragon, the Crak Martini, and the Bam Cucumber. 🍸

Then the tiles came out, and the real business began.

Afterward the group sent us a note: "Thank you again for everything last night!"

The thanks is all ours. You were a joy to have, and there is always a table waiting for you in Ironton. ❤️

If you've been coming to Melini for a while, chances are you already know Jasmine. She's been part of our family for 12 years, and she's a big part of why this place feels the way it does.

Jasmine is Ironton born and raised. When she's not here, she's keeping up with her 5 boys, and family time is what matters most to her. Ask her what to order and she'll point you to her favorite, the Penne Catona.

Meet the Melini Team 🇮🇹

Take a good look, because this group has grown!!

When we opened our doors in downtown Ironton, we hoped you would give us a chance. You did far more than that. You came back, you brought your families, you told your friends, and you kept our tables full. Because of you, our team is bigger today than it has ever been.

These are the faces that greet you at the door, pour your w**e, toss your dough, and make sure your plate comes out just right. We are missing a few from this photo, but this is most of the crew that makes Melini what it is.

From every one of us, thank you. We are truly grateful for each and every person who walks through our doors. You are the reason we get to do what we love, and the reason this family keeps growing.

We're so honored to share that Melini has been voted Best Restaurant in Ironton on Restaurant Guru, and it's all thanks to you. 🇮🇹❤️

Every review, every kind word, every family dinner, date night, and late-night slice at the pizza bar brought us here. When we opened our doors on 2nd Street, we hoped to become a place where neighbors feel at home. Seeing this community show up for us the way you have means more than we can say.

To our incredible team in the kitchen and on the floor, this one belongs to you too. And to every guest who has sat at our tables, grazed our patio under the mural, or saved room for a cannoli, grazie mille. 🍝🍷
