Events like this take a tremendous amount of work, planning, and dedication, and they bring people together year after year. We’re proud to be part of a community where local businesses can support one another and celebrate each other’s success. ❤️

We’ll have biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage, seasoned potatoes, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with peppers & onions, assorted pastries, fruit and plenty of cowboy-sized goodness to get your day started!

We’ll also have a limited cooked-to-order breakfast menu available.

Huge thanks to Steve Barone and Jeff Riggs who answered our Elk call at 6am. 🙏

We're opening at NOON for lunch. Let's get this day started!

Thanks for all of the support and understanding as we worked through this unexpected glitch this morning. We'll be back with our Labor Day Breakfast Buffet tomorrow starting at 7am. 🍳

🚨 WELL… THIS WASN’T ON TODAY’S MENU. 😩💦

We woke up to an unexpected water line issue at J’s Elk Tavern, and unfortunately that means we cannot open for breakfast this morning as scheduled.

We know some of you were planning to start your day with us, and we are SO sorry for the last-minute change. ❤️

🔧 We’re already working to get the problem fixed as quickly as possible and will keep you posted right here as soon as we know when we can safely open our doors.

Please help us spread the word to anyone who may have been planning to join us for breakfast this morning.

Apparently even the Elk needs a plumber once in a while. 🦌💦🤦‍♀️

September may be sneaking up on us, but summer isn't getting out of the Northwoods THAT easily. 😎

We've got a full week of Tavern favorites leading into a BIG Labor Day Weekend at J's!

🌮 TUESDAY: Taco Tuesday — you know the drill. Come hungry.

🥜🍗 WEDNESDAY: Wings & Whiskey gets a little wild with the return of our PB WINGS! They're only available on Wednesday, so peanut butter lovers...this is your night. Pair 'em with a 2XO Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned and call it dinner. We won't judge. 🥃

🍝 THURSDAY: The Pasta Party rolls on with Spaghetti & Meatballs starting at 4 PM. That's comfort food with a capital C.
