Deliveries will be happening between 9:30-5:30. Orders will be placed in insulated bags with ice packs so you do not have to be home to receive your order.

Orders open Friday, March 6 at 9 am. If you missed out last time, I highly recommend signing up for text notifications to be reminded when orders drop. When we are out, we are out and we don’t want you to be sad 😃

I am based in Des Moines these days and Oh High Kitchen is my garage turned commercial kitchen where I run all of my food concepts and pop ups. You can find us on Instagram. I do Des Moines dumpling pop ups more frequently and have one in the works that will be happening in the next month or so. Just a short drive from Iowa City 😍

I know what you are thinking. Whyyyy can’t you just come to Iowa City more often? Transporting thousands of dumplings safely is logistically very complex and incredibly stressful. I’m working on ways to make this more feasible.

I’m blown away (and was quite surprised) by your dumpling enthusiasm and community support even after all of these years. I’ve missed you Iowa City.

Shoutout to the army of incredible women who hustled hard in the kitchen with me last week and helped make the pick up run so smoothly yesterday. I couldn’t have done any of it without you.

What you should know 👇

This is a pre-order only event and we are limiting the amount of orders that can be picked up per time slot in order to make this a good experience for everyone. If you need dumplings in your life, don’t wait to order. Orders will close on Friday or until all slots are filled.

Reminder that all if the items on our menu are cold or frozen and we will provide cooking/reheating instructions.

Want some dumplings for the big sportsball game? We’ve got bulk pans for that 🏈 🥟 🎊

Pickup is at Yotopia : Iowa City's Original FroYo on 2/8 during your selected time slot. Highly recommend adding some Froyo Mashups to your order or creating your own adventure at their self-serve froyo bar at pickup. Winter blows big time for brick and mortar businesses (one of the many reasons we no longer have a storefront 😄) so please show them some love ❤️

Lastly, if you feel so inclined to leave a tip at checkout, 100% of TIPS will be donated to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund supporting the immediate needs of immigrants targeted by ICE in MN. There are lots of other ways to be a helper including organizing, calling your reps, speaking up, and showing kindness to others especially those personally affected.

These are dark days we are living in and I hope that dumplings bring you some joy.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS IOWA CITY!

We are popping up with some of your Dumpling Darling favorites on Sunday, February 8 at Yotopia : Iowa City's Original FroYo

In order to make this a positive and smooth experience for everyone, we will only be offering cold take & bake options. The dumplings will either be pre-steamed for easy reheating or frozen (so that you can stock up for these cold winter nights). Pre-order only.

It’s all still coming together but here is what I do know..

Yes there will be Korean Chicken dumplings!

Soup dumplings? Hell yeah. Yes the miso soup dumplings too.

Pork & Cabbage Dumplings + Kimchi Mandu DUH

There will be sides. There will be sauces. There will be very good reheating instructions.

There will be FroYo mashups from our gracious host Yotopia.

Will consider all other reasonable requests 😃
