George's Best Gyros George's Best Gyros first opened for business over 40 years ago as a food cart in 1984 & added a brick & mortar in downtown Iowa City in 2022 on Iowa Ave.

You can still find the George's Gyros cart in the downtown Ped Mall on almost any weekend night.
