This season has truly been an emotional roller coaster for me and my family. Since the fire, we have experienced so many emotions—hurt, sadness, confusion, frustration, fear, and moments when we simply didn’t know what tomorrow was going to look like.
Losing our home has been something that is difficult to put into words. There are moments when we feel strong, and then there are moments when the reality of everything hits us all over again.
But through it all, I have a testimony.
I really want to thank God for never leaving me and never turning His back on me. 🙏🏽
Father, I am sorry for my disobedience. I am sorry for the times I have not been or done what You called me to do. I thank You for being a merciful and forgiving God. Thank You for loving me even when I have fallen short.
Because every day, when I least expect it, You show up—and You show out! 🙌🏽
And in the middle of this wilderness season, God has revealed something to me. I believe we are in a Children of Israel season.
Just like God provided manna from heaven for the children of Israel each day, He is reminding me that He will provide for us one day at a time.
We may not know what tomorrow will bring. We may not know what the next step looks like. We may not have everything we once had. But we have a God who is still providing.
Daily manna.
Daily grace.
Daily strength.
Daily provision.
Daily reminders that He has not forgotten us.
The fire may have taken our house, but it did not take our faith. It did not take our hope. And it certainly did not take God’s promises over our lives.
So we are trusting God one day at a time. One prayer at a time. One blessing at a time.
And I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to every person, family member, friend, church, organization, ministry, and community member who has stepped in to help us during this difficult time.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, called, texted, checked on us, donated, brought us food, provided clothing, offered resources, opened doors, encouraged us, or simply reminded us that we are not alone.
We see you. We appreciate you. We love you. And we pray that God pours back into you everything you have poured into us. ❤️
There have been moments when I have wondered, “Lord, how are we going to get through this?” And then God sends somebody. He makes a way. He opens a door. He provides exactly what we need.
Manna. From. Heaven.
Father, thank You for keeping me. Thank You for keeping my family. Thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for Your forgiveness. Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for never giving up on me.
Thank You, Father, from Your baby girl. ❤️🩹🙏🏽
We may be in the wilderness right now, but I believe God is leading us somewhere.
And if He provided manna in the wilderness before, He can do it again.
This is not the end of our story.
God is still speaking.
God is still providing.
God is still faithful.
And God is still showing up and showing out.
🙌🏽❤️🩹🙏🏽 To God be all the glory.
