Attention! Attention! Attention!

Today, I close a chapter as a tenant at the South District Market.

This is not goodbye—it is simply farewell to that location.

My family and I are incredibly proud of what we built there, grateful for every customer who walked through our doors, and excited about what lies ahead. We are looking forward to the next chapter of Royceann’s Soulfood and all the opportunities that come with it.

I will be closed for the entire month of July as I take some much-needed time to rest, reset, and prepare for our next move. We plan to reopen in August at a new location, which will be announced soon!

I want to thank everyone who has supported Royceann’s Soulfood over the years—our loyal customers, family, friends, staff, community partners, and everyone who believed in us. Your support has meant more than you know.

This journey is far from over. Bigger and better things are on the horizon, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Until then, I will be enjoying some well-deserved rest, spending quality time with my beautiful granddaughter, Alani Rayne, and my godson, Zamir King Miller, attending a few festivals, and continuing to offer catering services.

Thank you for your love, support, and encouragement throughout this journey.

See y’all in August!

With love and gratitude,

Royceann Porter
