Yesterday, we teamed up with our pals Molly and Connor from Kindred Coffee and the City of Iowa City for Climate Fest at the Iowa City Farmers Market, serving up Froyo Affogatos powered by the sun! 🌞

Every week, Kindred brings their solar-powered generator to the farmers market to power their espresso machines. We were so happy to join them in celebrating sustainability, community, and the delicious things we can create together.

Huge thanks to Kindred and the City of Iowa City for inviting us to be part of this special day!

It’s been a difficult week in our community, with tragic news that has left so many of us with heavy hearts. 💔

As we’ve been celebrating 15 years of froyo this month, we have also been mourning the losses of innocent souls gone way too soon.

And as we found ourselves looking back through these memories, the more one thing stood out:

Yotopia has never just been about frozen yogurt. It’s always been about community.

We are here for the sake of each other. To have a place to gather. To support one another. To celebrate together. To show up when things are hard. And to hold one another in our hearts when there is inexplicable tragedy.

That is the community that has carried Yotopia for 15 years, and it’s the community that will keep us going.

We’re holding our community a little closer this week. ❤️
