Found a new local favorite…

Took me immediately back to old school days of BBQing in the park with the homies…
The brisket and pulled pork was perfect and the smoke on it was amazing… you can tell by the 1st bite they put love and skill to each dish…
Now let’s talk about the sides…. One word
Dayum
The Mac and cheese was creamy cheesy and delicious it’s what Mac and cheese is supposed be..
The potato salad will make you want seconds and thirds…

Go follow them and hit them up where ever they set up

They wrote on this day a declaration of independence…
At the same time wrote “what would we do with these merciless Indian savages “, owned black and indigenous people as slaves, setting up plans to continue invading more land and destroying our land. Removing indigenous peoples (including Mexican on west coast and southern states.) not allowing women to have a voice or even own property. So yeah I’m a forced American and no I do not celebrate today… I won’t until we are all free and equal.

Like always no major media campaigns, no special hubs in Hulu or Disney etc…
But as a people we are still here…

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the temporary closure of South Side Street Foods. Over the past two years, my wife and I have experienced significant losses, including two beloved grandparents, my wife’s father and little brother, my aunt and my little brother. These losses have brought both emotional and financial challenges, leading me to the difficult decision to shut down the food truck until I am in a better position to reopen, which may take several years due to the costs of licenses and other expenses. I am immensely grateful for the memories and support we have received since 2022. In the meantime, I will continue to pursue my passion for cooking, and this page will be dedicated to promoting other food trucks and restaurants that I visit. Thank you all for your understanding and support. Until we meet again.”
