Society Table was created to ensure everyone has a seat. A place to go when they have life to celebrate, life that needs support, and life that needs comfort. It is with the most humble part of my being I share that I am the one who needs the space to celebrate a most amazing life, share with you my need for support and comfort.

I will forever be grateful for this little restaurant that started as Ernie’s. Blake and I came across this building and took a look at it from a real estate perspective and it didn’t make a lot of sense. After a conversation with my dad it was very clear that this asset wasn’t just another property but that it was almost a living entity that thrived when given the opportunity to share itself with the community. This little building provided food and fed lasting friendships.

My dad told me stories of when he would have lunch on Friday’s at Ernie’s and enjoy his colleagues Mr. George Cromwell, Mr. Brad Herpst, and Mr. Ed Kopp. He told me about times he had in his life that he needed their advice, support, and a good laugh.

I am a private person and will hold my grief as a privilege because I feel the depths of this pain are only felt because of the most amazing love and life experience I was given by my dad; however, I feel it is important to share the news of his passing with this beautiful community because of all of the conversations, memories, and hugs to pass onto my dad I have received since we opened the doors in July.

I typically meet at least one of his former students, colleagues, and friends at each dinner service and I shared all of those interactions I had with my dad. He would light up and told me more stories of his life and interactions with you all.

He loved and cared about you and it has been such an amazing unexpected opportunity to be back in Idaho and share his life with everyone who comes through the doors.

Thank you for loving my dad and helping us celebrate him. Thank you for giving me grace to grieve him.
I miss him.

It’s our day off and Society Table rests so we can relax, sleep in, enjoy our time, and learn what’s new in our amazing little spot in the world.
We jumped at the chance to give an offering to this super fun venture. We absolutely love this group and their passion for fun and food.
The establishments that participate look amazing so we grabbed our card and can’t wait to save while eating the delicious bites we would already be ordering!!
