With a heavy heart, we share news we never imagined we would have to write.
After 24 years of serving the Ingleside community, Zaza’s Steakhouse & Italian Eatery will be closing its doors.
When we opened Zaza’s, our dream was simple: to create a place where people could gather around great food, celebrate life’s special moments, and feel like family. Over the last 24 years, you welcomed us into your lives in ways we could never have imagined. We’ve watched first dates turn into marriages, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, hosted family gatherings, and had the privilege of serving multiple generations of the same families.
You were never just customers to us—you became part of the Zaza’s family.
This decision has not come easily. The Main Street closure has had a devastating impact on our business, resulting in the loss of approximately 75% of our customers. We fought with everything we had to keep going. We adapted, persevered, and held onto hope that things would improve. But despite our best efforts, the challenges became too great to overcome.
We are heartbroken—not only for our family and our incredible staff, but for the community that has supported us for nearly a quarter of a century.
To every guest who walked through our doors, shared a meal, recommended us to a friend, left a generous tip, celebrated a milestone, or simply made us part of your routine: thank you. Your support allowed us to live our dream for 24 years, and for that we will be forever grateful.
While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories we’ve made together will stay with us forever. The laughter, the conversations, the celebrations, and the friendships are what made Zaza’s so much more than a restaurant.
