The Mousetrap is one of Indy’s oldest north-side watering holes! Since 1957 we’ve been slinging strong drinks and serving up great food! In the early 70′s we began serving our famous beef stew and the same people come back time after time for another super hot helping. We also feature Huge Wings, Hand Pattied Burgers, Indy's Biggest, Best Breaded and Grilled Tenderloins, Flatbread Pizza and more on a One Of A Kind Grateful Dead Themed menu. Also, look for our homemade daily specials such as Kandas Famous Meatloaf or Chicken Salad and Karus' Homemade Soups. With 4 pool tables, ping pong, megatouch, dart boards, pull-tabs and dozens of board games, there is always something to do at The Mousetrap! Concentrating on jam bands, we have played host to some of the biggest bands in the world as well as numerous up and coming bands from around the country. This place has a vibe and soul that’s electric. Bands can’t wait to come back and there are always more fans to greet them at their next show!
**Sundays- Enjoy a Bloody Mary w/ some Bluegrass. Members of Flatland Harmony Experiment host an open session of kick-ass Bluegrass. In warm weather, we even jam out on the deck as we grill out. Yes, it's a Sunday Funday indeed! Bring your instrument or voice and join in. (no drums please)
**Mondays- Indy's Live Trivia hosts a musically inclined live trivia game for teams or individuals w/ cash payouts at 7:30pm! Bring your friends in to see how much useless info is stored up in that melon. Immediately following trivia is Mousetrap Karaoke at 9:30 on the stage with full sound provided by The Mousetrap.
**Tuesdays- “The Mayors Ball” aka "Bourbon for the Brain, Jazz for the Soul" at 9pm —Rob Dixon heads up an all-star cast of Indy’s best musicians for a raucous night of Jazz, Soul and Rye. And we taste some great bourbons and whiskeys, with a new feature weekly. And if you prefer an earlier activity, join in our Euchre Tournament at 7pm
** Wednesdays- Mikial Robertson hosts a Family Jam featuring some of the most accomplished musicians in the city as well as many up-and-comers in a freestyle, open stage format starting at 8pm. Got some chops? Sign up at 7:30 to sit in.
**Thursdays- IndyMojo Presents Altered Thurzdaze which is one of the longest standing weekly events in the country for Electronic/Dance, Experimental Bass, Dubstep & more.
** Friday and Saturdays we have incredible jam, funk, folk & bluegrass bands putting on fantastic live shows as well as monthly curated events by Collage Artists & Entertainment.
