Indianapolis BBYO teens had an amazing day at KIO’s Regional Fall Kick-Off at King’s Island! The day was filled with fun, friendship, and connection with teens from across the region. So much to celebrate as these teens make memories, build community, and grow together!

Make a splash at Doggie Dips at the J!

Bring your four-legged friend for one last poolside adventure of the season. All dogs are welcome during the following sessions:

Wednesday, Sept. 16 | 5:30–7:30 pm
Friday, Sept. 18 | 4–6 pm
Saturday, Sept. 19 | 12–2 pm
Sunday, Sept. 20 | 11 am–12 pm | Dogs under 25 lbs.
Sunday, Sept. 20 | 12–2 pm | All dogs welcome

Cost is $20 for the first dog and $15 for each additional dog. Advance registration is required.

"I walked into the JCC on Tuesday morning wearing a bathing suit.

No, I wasn't taking the day off.

I was joining Rivercise - and happened to find myself walking the lazy river alongside a longtime JCC member whose ideas have helped shape our community in ways neither of us could have predicted.

From pickleball to the waterpark, Ellen Shevitz has reminded me of something important: our members don't simply use the JCC. They help build it.

Sometimes, leadership means listening. Sometimes, it means acting on a member's idea. And sometimes, it means putting on a bathing suit and getting in the lazy river."

As we approach three years since the horrific events of October 7, 2023, we invite our community to come together in remembrance and honor the lives lost.
We will gather to memorialize the victims and invite participants to take part in a remembrance walk or commemorative run. The program will also feature wellness stations, creating space for reflection and healing.
Together, we hope to find comfort in one another, draw strength from our unity, and honor the memories of those we have lost 💙
