As a lupus survivor, I’ve sat in a lot of rooms, led a lot of conversations, and poured into a lot of people, but this one hit different.

My workshop with Faces of Lupus, “Through Food: Simple Plant Based Swaps for Lupus Pain and Inflammation,” was the closest to my heart.

Because this wasn’t just information… this was lived experience.

We talked real life, not perfection.
Simple plant based, alkaline inspired swaps that actually fit into everyday routines.
Ways to reduce inflammation without feeling overwhelmed or restricted.
How what’s on your plate, and even in your home, can either support your healing or silently work against you.

This session was about taking your power back in a way that feels doable, sustainable, and yours.

Grateful to share this space. Grateful to live this truth. And grateful to keep doing this work for a community that deserves to feel better, one small shift at a time. 💜

Shoutout to my bestie who pulled up after I said I wasn’t gonna remind her because we both had a heavy week and still surprised me. She helped make sure I was good during setup, tried to make sure I ate, checked me when I was being extra (no that’s maintenance job), helped me tear everything down, and went with me on my next community event because she knew I was anxious about my day.

Honored to be selected for the Martindale Brightwood Adopt-A-Plot program.

I’m so excited to learn and grow!

Building a community farm that provides safe, accessible food isn’t just a goal, it’s a pillar of my work. This moment is a small step toward a much bigger vision.

Most High is so good! And The MartinDale Brightwood Community has been so good to me and the growth not just as a businessman but as a person, I appreciate them with all my heart!

Attended the Savvy Women Mini Con this week where I served as a hostess and contributed to the conversation on Martindale-Brightwood Small Business department.

During the conversation, I spoke on the work of the Small Business Department at Martindale Brightwood CDC, specifically around community, capital readiness, and education, and how those pillars support entrepreneurs in real, tangible ways.

It was a strong space for honest dialogue, shared experiences, and practical insight from women actively building and leading in their fields.

Grateful to be part of a conversation rooted in access, growth, and community impact here in Indianapolis.
