Public Greens, owned and operated by Patachou, Inc., is a farm-market inspired cafeteria; the only restaurant in the region devoting all of its profits and crops to benefit The Patachou Foundation. The Patachou Foundation was established in 2013 to feed healthy meals to children in our community suffering from food insecurity. The restaurant name reflects the nature of our menu items with an empha

sis on "green": fresh and wholesome non-processed foods; it reflects our commitment to sustainability (something Patachou, Inc. has practiced by buying local and building responsibly since 1989); and it reflects the proximity to the major greenway in Indiana: the Monon Trail.

Friendly reminder, if you preordered Thanksgiving pies, don’t forget to pick up tomorrow (11/27) between 11:30am-7pm at Public Greens in Broad Ripple! Pastry Chef Katy has graciously made a few extra pumpkin pies if you happen to be in the neighborhood and in need of something to bring to dinner - available first come, first served! 🥧 🥧 🥧 Public Greens will be closed Thanksgiving Day and will reopen Friday (11/29) 11:30am-8pm. 🦃

After an incredible ten-year run, Public Greens’ last day of service will be Sunday, December 1st. 💚🤝⁠

Closing Public Greens is not an easy decision to make, but this choice allows us to focus our resources on the continued expansion of Cafe Patachou while creating new opportunities for our team. The Public Greens team members you have come to know and love have been offered positions throughout our organization, including at our newest Cafe Patachou in Fishers which will open in December. ⁠

When we opened in December 2014, Public Greens was a trailblazing restaurant with a unique purpose: to serve as a gathering place for our community and a vehicle to support the newly-founded The Patachou Foundation's mission to provide high-quality meals to children impacted by food insecurity. We’re excited to continue our support for their cause in new ways as Won’t Stop Hospitality grows!⁠

We are beyond appreciative to all who made Public Greens possible—customers, vendors, local farm partners, Broad Ripple neighbors, and most of all—our amazingly talented and dedicated team both past and present, who truly gave this concept so much heart. ⁠
