Adding some Golden Ace History to your feed to warm up for Trivia Friday at 8pm!

The V was put in as a symbol of patriotism in World War II by John & Ann McGinley. It was installed in the early 1940’s. It has shone brightly above the bar ever since.

The V for victory was a slogan for the hopeful Allied victory over the Axis. Of course, it’s the U.S.colors (part of the Allied forces) of red, white and blue.
