Another Rootstock Golf Outing is officially in the books.
This day has become one of our favorite traditions, and judging by the fact that it fills before we ever have a chance to promote it, we know we’re not alone.
This year meant a little more.
We were proud to introduce Rootstock Rising, the foundation created by Andrew Vudis and Ryan Craig to invest in the next generation of hospitality. Through scholarships for students pursuing restaurant management, culinary arts, hospitality, wine & spirit education, tourism and related fields, we now have an opportunity to give back to the industry that has given so much to all of us.
To our sponsors, thank you. This day simply does not happen without your generosity and partnership.
To our teams from , , and &EventCenter, thank you for the countless hours behind the scenes that go into pulling this off every year.
And to , you have become an incredible partner and the perfect home for this day.
Finally, to our golfers, we love hosting you. We love hearing “this is my fifth,” “my seventh,” or “I’ve been coming for more than ten years.” There’s plenty of golf, but let’s be honest: the food, the drinks, the fun and the player gifts have developed a bit of a following of their own.
No one drove home in the Lotus this year, but we certainly had fun watching everyone try.
What started as a really great day together now has an even greater purpose. With Rootstock Rising, we get to take something we already love and use it to give back to an industry, and its future leaders, that means so much to all of us.
