Meet John.
John came into Greiner’s for the first time in his ultra cool ride, a hearse, not hearst. Do you add a T? There’s NO T!

John works full time in organ and tissue donation. He is responsible to bring life saving and life changing organs to their destination.
More responsibility than most of us can handle.

John has lots of friends and he’s popular.

He likes car shows (thus the hearse).

John collects vinyl records. Lots of vinyl records.

He also collects concert posters, and jams on going to live music events.

John self syndicated his own radio show from his home called “Crossroads of Americana” heard in ten counties and about 50 stations. Not many people can say that…

John likes kitty cats.
He has six.
They live a very good life.
We tried to pawn our local kitty off on John, but there was no room at the Inn.

John’s favorite sammich is
Wilbur’s Ham+cheese, named after someone’s ex husbands second favorite uncle. He loves the ham itself and believes it to be “not the processed stuff you get at some other places. The bread is always fresh and never tastes like it came straight out of a bag.”
Gosh John, we’re blushing. Thank you for all the really nice things you said about us.

John is a FOODIE.
He is a GREAT supporter of his favorite restaurants.

Meet Timmy and Christina Bledsoe.
They are a couple.
They are married.
They chose each other.
Tim said, and we quote-
“I woke up thinking about this place.”
Timmy is 22 years Christina senior when no one asked.
Timmy said he is very immature for his age and she’s very mature so things are working out very nicely
Christina said our our Italian beef is almost as good as her dad’s… “Don’t tell my mother.”
Christina said if Tim was a dog he would be a golden retriever
He mentioned she would be a German Shepherd.
Translate that

So how did they meet?
Tim was Christina‘s UPS driver for years at work.
Her level of excitement to receive mail and packages was enormous. She started ordering stuff off the Internet that she didn’t need. Then she would return it and request a UPS PICK UP. Literally and figuratively it would appear.

They like each other a lot.
It’s mostly fun to watch them be in love, unless you’re single, then, not so much.

Be like Tim and Christina.
Do life together.
Gaze into someone’s eyes.
Eat a sammich.
Twirl.
Rescue a dog.
Sing in the shower.

Meet Steve, also the name of our feral cat.
He got his hat in Austria in 2018 at the 200 year celebration of Silent Night.
Did you know that the song silent night was created in 1818 in Austria?
We did not.
Now we do.
The original rendition was sung with a guitar.
Today Steve ordered a veggie wrap and a Sprite. He said his sammich last week had meat in it.
He taught German for 17 years in a Pennsylvania high school and retired early at the age of 55 so that he would not “strangle today’s adolescence”.
Steve is an actor and has been featured with names familiar to the whole world. He didn't once name drop. (Well, maybe once.)
Steve made a decision to no longer drive in April because his car died.
Steve prayed his car would die before he did. His prayer was answered so now he walks everywhere or takes the bus. We have promised him that if he ever wants a sammich from Greiner’s that we will hand-deliver it to him.

We really like Steve.
A lot.

Meet Sharon.
Sharon has been coming to Greiner‘s for a year.
When asked if she was craving Greiner’s today after she woke, her reply was, “What’s not to crave, my dear?!!”

Sharon has a 28-year-old grandson that is working on his PhD. I reminded Sharon that he could reach out after he is finished with his PhD as we are still hiring. She promised to convey the message.

Sharon wanted to be a violinist when she was growing up but she became a social worker instead. When asked how she felt about that decision. She replied.- “ Well back then I played the violin when I was married to John, my ex-husband. He wasn’t a fan so I got rid of the violin. … … …
not my best decision. “

Sharon spends extra time watching documentaries. She especially enjoys those that involve global travels.

Sharon does not currently have a boyfriend but said she is not closed to the idea.

We never ask a girl her age but… Sharon voluntarily shared that she will be 84 next month!

Meet Rachel and Ryan
They met 2 1/2 years ago.
For Ryan’s first lunch date, he took Rachel to Greiner‘s because its his favorite sammich place in the world…
Once a week they make homemade soup together.
They have two pitties named Gracie and Leo. .
Their favorite thing in the world to do is to find music festivals.
They are big foodies and love local restaurants. Not much of a chain duo.
Ryan loves to stare at Rachel because she is so beautiful.
Rachel loves photography and Ryan loves Rachel.
Had he said this before he bought his lunch, I would’ve given him a free sammich. We love real love.

Rachel power lifts.
Rachel likes to twirl.
Ryan is doing the mini next May.
While Rachel has claimed their life might be boring… It certainly is not. She also repurposes clothes and is currently bedazzling a pair of jeans.
(We should all use the word bedazzle more often)
Don’t be jelly… about the fabulocity of their life.
Be like Ryan.
Be like Rachel.
Twirl, be in love and go to Greiner’s for a sammich… then live happily ever after.
