Quick lesson time! For those of us with a knife set, there's probably one of these round rods in it. Fun fact..... that's not a knife sharpener! That's a honing steel!
We use a honing steel to help our sharp knife stay sharp for longer. If your knife is not sharp, that honing steel is no longer helping. And if you've had that knife set for longer than one year....... it's no longer sharp.
So do yourself a favor and properly sharpen your knives. If you don't know how, or don't have the tools to do it yourself, message me! For $10/blade, I'll sharpen it! I'll even sharpen that 4 set of steak knives for $30.
