For this Top Shelf Sunday, we are featuring a coffee used by Amberson Coffee’s founder used in the World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship last week in Brussels. Hugo represented the United States using a Gesha grown in Santa Barbara, California, roasted by our sister roaster .coffee.

Enjoy this rare and stone fruit-forward coffee grown in the U.S. this Independence Day weekend.

/ .coffee founder will be representing the United States Thursday & Friday on the world stage, sharing a very special coffee from Montze Olvera & Jose Juan Cabrera of .

Watch live on Amberson Coffee’s livestream this Thursday at 2:20pm CEST / 8:20am EST & Friday at 1:35pm CEST / 7:35am EST.

We will also be brewing Montze & Jose Juan’s coffee this week at Amberson Coffee and serving it as pour over and espresso.

Meet the Roaster: Native Coffee Co /

A roasting project born with the intention of connecting the consumer to origin, Native Coffee Co is spread across Dallas, Colombia, and Panama to share curated offerings from some of the best producers in the world.

We have been honored to have been a part of Native’s initiative for the month of May. Currently, enjoy a washed Castillo on Espresso and an anaerobic Castillo on Pour Over, both by producer Diego Bermudez.

Coffees from Native also available on retail.
