You’ve been asking. We’ve been testing. And now it’s time to spill the beans.

This Saturday, Cheeky Bastards is rolling out a completely redesigned brunch menu.

More British. More Cheeky Bastards.

We kept the things that absolutely belong — including the Full English and Full Monty — and built the rest of the menu around the kind of breakfast and brunch food we love and that the UK is known for.

Meet some of the new lot:

BENNY & THE JETS — toasted crumpets, black pudding, Branston pickle, poached eggs and hollandaise.

HIGHLAND SCRAMBLE — Scottish smoked salmon over buttered sourdough with soft scrambled eggs, chives and fresh lemon.

SMOKED KIPPER KEDGEREE — one of Britain’s great old-school breakfast dishes finally getting its turn at Cheeky Bastards.

EGG-DIPPED CRUMPETS — because apparently crumpets weren’t already dangerous enough.

And that’s only part of it. Buck Rarebit, Bubble & Squeak, proper baps and butties, Eggs & Soldiers, Beans on Toast and plenty more have joined the morning line-up.

We didn’t redesign brunch to make it more familiar.

The next chapter of brunch at Cheeky Bastards is on the way.

KIPPER KEDGEREE

Smoky kippers. Fragrant curried basmati. Butter. Lemon. Fresh herbs. And because we’re Cheeky Bastards, a soft poached egg on top so the yolk runs through the whole bloody lot. Smoky, rich, bright, and unapologetically British.

If you know kedgeree, you already know....

We’re deep into our brunch redesign, and this old-school British classic is exactly the kind of dish we’re bringing to the table.

One of my favourite things to hear at Cheeky Bastards is “I haven’t had this since I was in England.”

That’s what I wanted this place to be. Somewhere you could come back to a meal you’d missed—or discover what you’d been missing.

Fish & chips, a Full English, bangers & mash, a proper pie. This is food I loved when I lived in England, and I love getting to share it here.

Today’s Afternoon Tea was a smashing success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a proper Sunday afternoon of sandwiches, savouries, scones, sweets, and plenty of tea.

And just like that, we’re already looking ahead to the next one.

Our October Afternoon Tea is Sunday, October 11, and reservations are now open.

Saturday morning heads-up:

Because of the Geist Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & 1 Mile, we’ll be opening a little later than usual this Saturday, September 12.

Instead of our normal 8 AM opening, we’ll open at 10 AM.

So if your Saturday plans include a Full English, Fish & Chips, or a pint after watching much healthier people run several miles for fun, just give us a couple of extra hours.

Right then, America — we need to have a little chat about flapjacks.

No, not pancakes.

In Britain, a flapjack is a proper baked treat made with oats, butter and golden syrup — chewy, sticky, slightly crisp around the edges, and dangerously easy to demolish with a cup of tea.

Today we’ve made ours with apricots and chocolate chips, because apparently plain old delicious wasn’t quite enough.

And while we’re corrupting your good intentions, we’ll also have Millionaire Shortbread — buttery shortbread, caramel, chocolate… the name is basically a warning.

Come in and try a proper British flapjack.

Just please don’t ask us where the maple syrup is.

NOT EVERY RESTAURANT JOB HAS TO TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE.

Cheeky Bastards is hiring part-time dishwashers.

Our regular service runs Wednesday through Saturday, and dinner ends at 9pm. That means a restaurant job with a schedule that still leaves you a life outside of work.

We’re looking for people who are dependable, willing to work, and understand that the dish pit is every bit as important to a busy kitchen as the people standing on the line.

You don’t need restaurant experience. If you show up, work hard, help your team, and take a little pride in doing the job well, we can teach you the rest.

This is a great part-time gig for someone looking for extra income, a first restaurant job, or a steady job without committing to five or six nights a week.

NEW THIS SATURDAY: BENNY AND THE JETS

We figured Eggs Benedict needed to be a little more British.

So we put black pudding and Branston pickle on toasted crumpets, topped them with poached eggs and absolutely smothered the lot in hollandaise.
