This past Saturday, 2 Cups a Day Café hosted our very first Books & Breakfast, and I am still smiling from the love and support! The morning was filled with incredible stories from six local authors (one is missing in the photo), a delicious breakfast, and a community that showed up to support creativity, small business, and one another.

Launching this event was both exciting and humbling. My vision was simple: create a space where stories could be shared, voices could be amplified, and neighbors could gather around good food and coffee. Thanks to everyone who attended, that vision came alive.

I want to extend my gratitude to the authors who shared their work and wisdom, family and friends who stepped in and helped, and the guests who made the café beautiful with laughter and conversation.

This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to continue building spaces where our community can connect, learn, and celebrate together.
Here’s to more storytelling, more collaboration, and more mornings like this.
