Hi everybody! As you all know, my beloved ice cream shop, Lulus has been destroyed by not one, but two hurricanes in the last week and a half.
Insurance is giving me the run around, and I have no idea how to come up with the funds to ever reopen.

This competition was brought to my attention a few weeks ago and I thought, what the heck! Maybe I can win.?. I don't have anything to lose..
I've already lost everything anyway.
But, if I were to win- the grand prize is 40,000k.
That sure would go a long way to get my girl up and running again.
Life sure is scary. Taking this chance right here is scary. But, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
So. Here's my shot.

Lulus Miraculous Hibiscus is home!!! I still can not believe that this baby made it through not 1, but 2 hurricanes in a week and still has green leaves and buds on the stem.
Wow.
Now that's something special. 🥰💖✨️🙏

Hi guys! Just wanted to give everyone an update.
It's bad. Really, really bad!!
Helene ravaged our sweet shop. We lost every single piece of equipment inside- mostly due to looting. The patio was also completely destroyed.

Then a week later Milton came to town. We hadn't had enough time between Helene and Milton to get everything that we were trying to save out of the parking lot- So the pink table had 2 chairs on top of it, there was a tall chair by the door, some plastic shelving, and my beloved 10ft tall potted hibiscus They didn't move at all in Milton.
Miraculous!!!The Hibiscus is the only plant thats on the island that I've seen that's still alive. Truly remarkable!! Sadly, everything else on the island is mostly dead.
We have a long road ahead
