We’ve reached the last Friday of the month, and with the first day of school quickly approaching, it’s the last Mermaid Farts Friday of the summer! We are sad to share that tonight will be Carson’s last night behind the bar before he heads off to grad school. Carson joined us last September, and while the plan may never have been to be here for a long time, it was always going to be a good time! Carson has brought a strong work ethic and friendly face from day 1, and of course we always appreciate a man who isn’t scared to wear some glitter every now and then.

While we are sad to see him go, we are excited for Carson as he moves on to his next chapter. Come out and show him some love tonight, he’ll be clocking in at 6. Oh, and make sure to order a bunch of cocktails from him, we all know how much he loves to show off the biceps đŸ˜‰đŸ€Ł. Can’t make it in tonight? Rumor has it he’ll be hanging out on the other side of the bar tomorrow night for Mermaid Farts Friday (glitter optional).

Our Book Club meets on the 4th Monday of every month with rotating genres chosen for each month. Our July genre is memoir and tonight we’ll be discussing Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey. The genre for August is suspense/thriller, so we’ll also be taking recommendations for the August book choice vote!

Haven’t been able to read the book? That’s ok! Have you been curious about book club but haven’t come in yet? Now’s your chance! Our book club is open to all with no sign ups required. Just come in on the 4th Monday of the month to enjoy good beer, food, and the company of fellow book lovers!
