Mind but Brevard is a hard place

This was such a unique concept we sure have missed all of you
So
Much time money and thought went into this venue
As we have missed all of you
Unfortunately the conditions made it impossible to run in this location
We will try again in the near future in a different venue nearby as we have gotten endless requests to reopen elsewhere
Parking was a complete nighrmare as was the roof and management
Others will try to copy my concept and my vision and dream
Which was unique to my family and my dreams
When people wrongly do things
To others it never prevails

It is with heavy heart we closed Corked although we had many followers it wasn’t bringing the traffic we needed to survive!
The recent road construction was difficult for people to get in the plaza and killed business for the summer.

The location was not good for the venue people never knew it was there.
Than this coupled with a very slow summer.

We closed Funiy Mermaid next to Corked there a year ago because of no traffic and now closing Corked for the same reason!

We believed it was a cool venue unique and something unlike anything around but like my friend who owned island Pasta said when he closed people love it but they don’t support it! This area doesn’t realize what it takes to support a venue overhead is ridiculous!

The sacrifices owners
Put in for small business is something no one but owners will understand !
You can’t be with family you
Miss events and life moments life blesses you with your always getting up from the table to rush there for a flood a leak a broken piece of equipment.

The worry the headaches the heartache the stress to not make profits is the worst!
And landlords have no compassion. They readily move to the next tenant who can hand them another 20lk to get a key!

So all that being said the wonderful talent who played for us was amazing so
Many are my personal friends now and you all brought us smiles!

Our hearts are heavy for those who gave a lot to help us along.
