WELLLLL… THIS IS IT, FOLKS!
SATURDAY 12–8 | SUNDAY 12–6

The Frosty Monkey closes for the season Sunday!
We’re not ordering anything else, so what sells, sells. Anything left after Sunday isn’t sticking around — the dumpster may be eating better than all of us Monday. Lol

We’ll be straight with you: the last couple of months have been really slow. We’ve had a great summer, but three strong months just may not be enough to justify operating this location for an entire season.
We love the Frosty Monkey and we’ve loved bringing it to Independence. But with several trucks, events and other opportunities, we have to be smart about where we put our time and resources.

Does that mean the Monkey won’t be back next year? We honestly don’t know yet. We’ll look at the numbers after the season and figure out what makes the most sense.

So forget all that for now — WE’VE STILL GOT TWO DAYS! 🐒🍦
Come see us, have something good, and help save some perfectly innocent ice cream from an undeserved trip to the dumpster. 😂

🐒🍦 LAST CALL AT THE FROSTY MONKEY! 🍦🐒

We officially close for the season September 15th — OR WHEN THE ICE CREAM IS GONE!

We are NOT ordering any more ice cream this year, so don't wait until the last day and expect your favorite to still be here. 😂 When it's gone, IT'S GONE!

And just to be clear — FOOD IS DONE FOR THE YEAR. Right now we're finishing out the season with ice cream and shaved ice.

One more update: we've decided NOT to move forward with the franchise plans we were considering for next year. We'll keep everyone posted over the winter about the future of The Frosty Monkey and what direction we're taking next season.

For now, COME HELP US EMPTY THESE FREEZERS! 😂🍦🐒

The **Frosty Monkey Store in Independence** will be **TEMPORARILY CLOSED Monday, Aug. 31 through Tuesday, Sept. 8.**

🚨 **NO, WE ARE NOT CLOSING PERMANENTLY!** 😂
🍦 **WE REOPEN WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 9 AT 11 AM!**

We're closing the storefront for the week because our trucks and trailers are going to be BUSY!

🔥 **HILLSVILLE LABOR DAY FLEA MARKET — SEPT. 4–7**
Come find our **giant food truck** at one of the largest events in the Southeast, expected to bring **500,000+ people** to Hillsville!

🐒 **JUST TO CLEAR THINGS UP!**

The **Frosty Monkey in Independence is CLOSED TOMORROW, Saturday, August 15th**, for our annual family day honoring my mom’s memory and celebrating my dad’s birthday and mine. ❤️

🍦 **WE REOPEN SUNDAY, AUGUST 16TH!**

And NO — **WE ARE NOT CLOSING OR LEAVING INDEPENDENCE!**

Next year, new franchise owners will operate the store, and **WE WILL BE BACK** helping them transition and getting them set up with our vendors and suppliers.

For me, this change also means **not being tied to a storefront every single day.** I'm still young, and I've spent a lot of years working and building this business. Now I want the freedom to **spread my wings a little, see this great country, enjoy some life, and serve some damn good food along the way!**❤️

It gives us the freedom to focus on our growing traveling operation, the **TV series**, and start chasing some of the BIG events — **Daytona Bike Week, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Florida State Fair, Florida Strawberry Festival, Kentucky Derby Festival, Indianapolis 500, NASCAR weekends, Country Thunder, major air shows, national food competitions, and some of the biggest fairs and festivals in the country.**

And the **Frosty Monkey trailer is STILL OURS**, along with our other trailers. You'll still see us right here in the area AND out on the road doing what we do best!

**FROSTY MONKEY IS STILL HERE IN 2027**

**We're not going away. I'm just giving myself a little freedom to enjoy the ride, see where this adventure takes us, and maybe feed half of America while we're at it!** 😂

❤️🐒 CLOSED SATURDAY, AUGUST 15TH — AND A LITTLE NEWS ABOUT WHAT’S AHEAD...

The Frosty Monkey in Independence will be CLOSED Saturday, August 15th.

Every year, we set aside one special day to step away from work and spend time together as a family. It’s a day to celebrate my mom’s life and memory, along with my dad’s birthday and my own. ❤️

Running a small business doesn’t give you many days when you truly stop, but this is one day every year that means a lot to us. Thank you all for understanding and giving us that time.

🐒 NOW... A LITTLE TEASER ABOUT NEXT YEAR.

This season will also be our final year operating the Frosty Monkey store in Independence ourselves.

We have officially sold this Frosty Monkey location as a franchise to a new group, who will take over operations next year!

We’ll still be around to help guide them through the transition, introduce them to our vendors and suppliers, and help them continue bringing you the Frosty Monkey products you've come to know. They’ll also be putting some of their own ideas and new additions on the menu, so there are some exciting changes coming!

And before anybody panics...

🍦🐒 THE FROSTY MONKEY TRAILER ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE!

The trailer remains ours and will still be here in the area. The new operators may also lease it from us for individual events they want to attend, but the trailer remains part of our business.

For us, though, 2026 will be our last season running the Independence store. Our traveling operations and our other locations are growing and need more of our time and attention, so it’s time for us to hand this location over to a new group who can give it the attention it deserves.

There will be plenty more to share as we get closer to the changeover. For now, come enjoy the rest of the season with us — and maybe start wondering what the new crew has planned for Frosty Monkey Independence in 2027! 👀🐒🍦
