People who figure out how to help you are the ones who leave their marks. Whether they are around all the time or you just met them once, you'll always remember them.
While I didn't know Randy very well or for a long time. He showed up doing his job and he figured out how to get Sugar on the truck even though he wasn't so sure about it at first.
He did it like a pro and made it look easy. He did it not once, but a few times. That night when he towed Sugar to Fidelity at 1am. I said, I just need to get her up the road for my event in the morning and I'll call you when I'm done and you can tow her up the road to get fixed. He chuckled at me, but I was like I have a mission and it has to get done.
He saved the night, I gave him some chocolate chip cookies and when he picked us up the next day he said those were the best cookies he's ever had! β€οΈ I actually ran into Randy last week and told him about the shop. Man, I'm just sad. π My love goes out to his loved ones. I'm so sorry. I know the world lost a good one.
If you want to help, even if it's $5.
