Oklahoma has reported 57 cases of cyclosporiasis, with 56 confirmed positive and 6 hospitalized. Unfortunately, I don't have information on which counties the confirmed cases are in, I haven't found that reported yet.
To keep everyone safe, we've removed parsley, kale, spinach, and green onions from our menu. We'll be replacing the green onions on our fish plates with locally grown onions. We've also sourced some other local produce, so we'll make changes and additions as we can. For now, we're still preparing salads and we’ll do our best to keep y’all safe. However, if you don't feel comfortable eating lettuce, please don't! Just let us know with a simple "NO LETTUCE!". I'm the one making the salads, and it won’t hurt my feelings if y’all take a break from them. I can just sit back and take me a little nap! 😁👍

USA TODAY highlighted a Red B post in this article! While I'm not sure about that “explosive diarrhea" headline,😂 we truly appreciate the mention! As of now, there are still no confirmed cyclosporiasis cases in Oklahoma, but we are surrounded by states that have reported cases. We'll keep updated and make any necessary changes to the menu as needed! Thanks so much for your support!

USA TODAY reached out to major national fast-food chains asking if they are doing anything different during the uptick in cyclosporiasis cases.

There are no confirmed cases of Cyclosporiasis in Oklahoma, but we know some of our customers have been concerned about it. Our lettuce and spinach are not bagged salad mixes..they're pre-washed when we get them, but we've been soaking and washing them again, so they may be a little wetter when you get a salad. We have taken kale and parsley off because they have rough and irregular surfaces, which makes them more difficult to fully clean. So, there will be no kale in your salads or pretty green grass on your plates for decoration now!🌿 We'll keep up to date on this and make changes as needed. Thank y'all!

We were gifted a bunch of bell peppers, so I’m going to try and make some stuffed peppers for the dinner shift. Pay attention to the word “try” because it could all go to hell in a hand basket real fast! And no special for lunch today! I have important board meetings to attend because I am important..or it could also be because they couldn’t find anyone else to be on these things.🤷🏻‍♀️ Either way, there’s no lunch special today cause my important self will be gone during lunch shift and we’ll be shorthanded! ❤️ Y’all have a BLESSED Day!
