We still have a few openings for our Wine Dinner Wednesday, August 25th, at 7 PM featuring Italian wines from Michele Chiario Vineyards in the Piedmont region of Italy. This region produces the best and most notable Italian wines and we have paired four of them with a delicious four-course dinner prepared by Chef Angie and her staff. Come join us for some great wine and food as well as great company and fun and several chances to win some wine to take home with you!

Available tonight and all day tomorrow along with a fresh Gulf Coast redfish stuffed with all kinds of shellfish and we couldn't forget about dessert....our housemade Makers Mark Pecan Bread Pudding. We are finally OPEN! Still some construction dust on one side of the restaurant but we missed everybody too much. By Friday, we should look like nothing ever happened and Snovid or snowmeggadon or whatever that was that hit us last week will be a fading memory.

We sincerely hope that everybody out there are doing as well as can be expected in this mess. Our damage is a little more extensive than we first thought so we will have to remain closed a few more days as we work our way thru scheduling repairmen and getting things back up and running. Hopefully, we will be back by Tuesday or Wednesday but keep checking back here or by calling the restaurant to see if we have been able to reopen yet. Thanks for all of your support! We miss being able to serve you.

Well...after two days with no power, we finally got it back on yesterday afternoon late and then the phone call came that water was gushing out the front door last night. Frozen sprinkler system pipe busted and flooded the restaurant. We will be closed today and probably tomorrow, too, but check back with us on Friday and maybe? We are still assessing the damage. We miss y'all!

Our Fish of the Day created by Chef Angelica...Southern Fried Gulf Coast Redfish...("Southern" in this case means cornmeal and creole and cajun spices. Sort of Italian-Southern fusion and oh so good.) Served with sweet corn and smoked paprika risotto and fresh cut green beans with toasted almonds. The fish is topped with a cajun crawfish and andouille sausage cream sauce.
And if you aren't feeling seafood tonight, we have an Angus beef tenderloin that was marinaded in Chef's secret bourbon sauce, served with crispy smoked gouda and bacon risotto cakes and grilled broccolini with a mushroom bourbon sauce.

Fantastic special for this weekend! Veal Valentino... layers of thinly sliced veal, spinach, roasted red pepper, grilled eggplant and mozzarella cheese. Finished in our wood fired brick oven and then drizzled with a sage and red wine Demi-glacé. Compliments of Chef Angelica.

We have a great special feature tonight available for dine-in or call and order for pickup or delivery. Bone-In Braised Short Ribs! Cooked slowly today in it's own juices and red wine and served with raviolis stuffed with sweet corn polenta and drizzled with gorgonzola crema and charred broccolini with garlic butter. Short ribs topped with a rich brown portobello mushroom sage sauce. (Picture coming)
We also have Stuffed Flounder with Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese and fresh cut green beans sauteed with blistered cherry tomatoes. YUM!

Italiannis will be closed this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for both in-house dining and take-out due to an employee testing positive for Covid-19. In order to prevent the spread of Covid to other employees and possibly guests, all employees returning to work on Monday, January 18, will have received a negative Covid test and the restaurant will have been professionally disinfected and sanitized to make dining with us as safe as possible. We thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you next week!
We don't live close to this place but decided to get our Mother's Day lunch there......as usual, it was simply wonderful. Had the chicken Marsala with side salads, tiramisu, lobster bisque...and, to celebrate. the peach bellinis. Oh my gosh....food was wonderful.....and the bellinis were great. We live quite far from there but we'll be back. Thanks for a great day!!

Always had good experience in the *past*, but Valentines Day 2019 was a big disappointment. 6:45 (early!) Even then, the place was already packed. Should have been, based on general reputation. However, *maybe* they have undergone management change, cuz all these issues reflect on management: * host desk: getting attention was like trying to break in to the front row next to the stage for a concert... An improvement would be having the host-staff *facing* the clientele, not with their backs to them.... the 4 week prior reservation was apparently difficult to find... then a total lack-luster handling/wait: clueless. Training???? * seating: I made the reservation 4 weeks prior and got the next-to-worst seating in the house, as if we were walk-ins. A booth would have been nice.... goes back to the host desk procedures, including reserved and non-reserved seating... Procedures???? * server: barely adequate. I had one glass of water--the original one. Never saw him except when he served something... Yes, I tipped him, but not the way I would have.... Hiring/training????? * wait for food: horrible. Apparently, lack of kitchen staff / prep for a big day like Valentines caught someone off-guard. Management??? * entree: fine if you like cheese baked to a hard crust. It was chicken-lasagna florentine. Kitchen overload???
