Tuesday Stuffed Pepper Soup still available. Next is Chicken Tortilla Soup. I'm there cleaning until around 6 every day. If you can't make it to buy Soup during lunchtime, call first to see if I'm there and check availability and get it on way home from work. I'll have another bigger pot to make bigger batches and serve hot during service soon. Veggie Burgers were good but didn't sell and were put to rest in the trash can until they are resurrected another day and probably thrown in the trash again. Still have Falafel though.

Thinking about trying a rotation of Scoop N' P**p "Hot and Ready" items if I have a hot well set up for soup. Something hot and ready like Sloppy Joe's, Chili Dogs, Tacos, Biscuits and Gravy, Pulled Chicken or Pork or whatever else. That way people can come in on their lunch and get something without waiting. "I know that's right!" 🇺🇸

Stuffed Pepper Soup! $12 a Quart. Available Monday. 419-602-5750. 11 to 4. Rye Beach Plaza 2012 Cleveland Rd West. Thanks to my Uncle Rob Davis who grows a huge garden every year and drops off maters and peppers for me to use at the restaurant. This Soup is made by roasting green peppers in the oven, cooking down some Mulvin's juicy maters and blending in some of the peppers. In a separate pot I sautéed diced onions then added ground beef, poured in the mater/pepper mixture, added diced peppers, paprika, then at the end added cooked brown rice. Have a bigger pot ordered from Bay Restaurant Sales (Bay Area Heating and Cooling) and will be able to make more at a time, serve hot and have a variety. Soup is bringing in more money and will help me pay off the construction and get on my feet.

When I need to order something for the restaurant, equipment repairs or refrigeration, I call Tony at Bay Area Heating and Cooling 419- 684-7428!
Last week I needed a spatula, this week I need to get a bigger soup pot, needed a new baking area so he brought me a mixer and a prep table. If the cooler is not working, the pilot light won't turn on I dont panic. I call Tony. If you manage or own a food service business you should too! Wouldn't be here without their help! Reminder that this is only a soft opening making food that I can buy for almost nothing. I don't have the equipment, pots, pans to make the good stuff yet. My help who can cook everything and run this place at this moment is in Cleveland until the spring or summer. Right now I'm just getting it going with no money which has problems daily that I have to work through. If you have eaten at my last restaurant which was #1 on Yelp, Google and Facebook in 2017, 2018 and 2019 in the area you'll understand. At Greenhouse Tavern in Cleveland we won a James Beard Award in 2015 and I was the Head Chef there. For the new folks have patience. "I know that's right!" 🇺🇸
