Wow! It’s been a busy, busy week for the Wisecrack Warriors!

We enjoyed breakfast at the HEARTS Veterans Museum of Texas in Huntsville — always a great time breaking bread, swapping stories, and spending time with our fellow veterans. We also yelled BINGO several times, with no cards in sight…. You had to be there I guess..

We’ve also had several other visits along the way, and of course we made time for an important mission stop at Honor Cafe Huntsville for coffee and cookies. Supporting a veteran-owned business while eating cookies? Tough duty, but somebody has to do it. 😂

And we’re not done yet! On Monday, we’ll be at Honor Cafe Conroe and on Patriot Day we’ll be meeting some new senior veterans and hopefully making a few new friends. (Make sure to support Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park on Friday for their event - we ran into Mrs Edwards this morning as she helped serve the 105 Vets group some breakfast)

This is what WCWS is all about — fellowship, laughter, camaraderie, and making sure our veterans know their stories still matter and their community is still here.

Apparently, sitting still just isn’t our thing.
