To Our Beloved Patrons, Staff & Community
Thank you for the last 20 years of love, support and lasting memories.
Our little Italian restaurant has truly been an amazing part of our family and we are ever grateful for all those who brought it to life… we ate well, we drank wine, we laughed & cried, we exchanged stories... all together with you.
In the summer of 2003, while we ran Red during the day, we built a restaurant together at night. We painted the walls a dramatic pumpkin hue, hung photographs we took of our trips to Sardinia and designed a menu and wine list that emulated the warmth of Italy… a comforting hug of pasta & a kiss of cannonau.
And after just over two decades, our knees hurt a little more than they used to and our time apart seems longer. Our decision to downsize has been bittersweet and difficult, but we are excited that our Osteria will become a canvas for a new owner, chef and team to flourish. And we are not gone, nor the hay & straw,
nonna’s meatballs or the eggplant parmigiana… So we say thank you, thank you, thank you… not goodbye.
We await your visit at Red or to Sapsuckers, where we will pick up the story where we left off.
