One thing about this business that doesn’t get nearly enough attention…

The friendships.

What starts as a cake order often turns into years of birthdays, graduations, celebrations, and life updates. We get to watch families grow, kids get older, and somehow everyone changes except us. 😏

I absolutely cherish the relationships that have come from repeat customers choosing Petalcakes again and again. Being trusted with your special moments year after year is something I never take for granted.

This cake, chocolate-covered strawberries, and cupcakes were created for a 19th birthday celebration, and it reminded me how lucky we are to be a small part of so many family traditions.

The desserts are fun, but the people are the best part. 💜

First of all, this is the SECOND birthday cake we’ve made for Everest! 🥹

Y’all… we’ve only been open for about 1.5 years. The fact that we’re already getting to make repeat birthday cakes and watch these sweet kiddos grow up is something we’ll never take for granted.

And second… can we all agree that a matching cake and cupcake cake combo is just elite? 😍

A race car cake. A giant racetrack number 2. Checkered flags. The cutest blue buttercream details. This theme understood the assignment. 🏎️💨

Happy “Two Fast” Birthday, Everest! Thanks for letting us be part of another lap around the sun. 🏁🎂

Now somebody tell me I’m not the only one who immediately started making race car noises while decorating this set. 😂
