Imagine that you discover yourself in an unimaginable situation. You've landed in a scorching hot Texas prison. You've only a small bar of soap, little to no toothpaste, no deodorant and no shampoo. As if the situation of being incarcerated isn't bad enough, having unmet physical needs only adds to the pain. As the despair washes over you, you learn that the unit chaplain has received a donation from a ministry who will give you all of these things FOR FREE. Just because Jesus loves you. Just because the word of God says to "remember those who are in prison as if you are chained with them." That ministry, Less Than The Least Ministries, isn't just telling you that Jesus loves you. They're proving it. How would that impact your view of God's love in a desperate situation?

Will you partner with us to make that a reality for hundreds of Texas prisoners? When you come to God Loves Laughter this Friday, can you bring one or more of the hygiene items that we donate to prisoners who would otherwise go without them? Just bring a standard sized bar of soap (or package of soaps), a tube of toothpaste, deodorant, and/or a 10-12.5 ounce bottle of shampoo. We'll have boxes by the check-in area for you to drop them in. We'll do the rest though our partnership with the chaplains at prison units to get those distributed to inmates who cannot afford to buy them.

On our night of fun, this will be our way of answering the call in James 2:16, “If you say, 'Go in peace, be warmed and filled, 'without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?." There's no maximum nor minimum to bring - just bring what you can.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7. Just give us your name when you come and we'll check you in. Thank you so much for purchasing a ticket and for considering this gift for indigent inmates.
