News from the Chuck Wagon
This is going to be a very busy week for Li Ying and me and we would like to share some off the exciting things that are happening.
First, this year we will be hosting two foreign students for the school year.
We feel that this is our way of introducing the American way of life and our American values to a couple of young people from half way around the world. Who knows, one day one of these young men could be a decision maker in his homeland and the time we spend together just might influence important decisions to be made between our two countries. If nothing else we will have had the chance to help shape the character of two young men.
The boys will be arriving on Tuesday and Thursday of this week and there will lots to do to get them settled in and set up with their school. While it will be exciting it will be time consuming too. Consequently, Li Ying and I have decided not to open for dinner this Friday and Saturday evening (Aug. 26 & 27) so we can do a proper job of getting the boys settled in. Additionally, if we were spread too thin we would not be doing you, our customer and supporter, justice if we ended up scrimping on the dinner menu for lack of time. Dinner will resume on September 2 & 3.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to having you for dinner in September.
As always, Thank You for being part of the Chuck Wagon Family
