I'm just gonna post this and not even waste too much time typing. I already typed a lot this morning and I just want to get this going. In case it takes forever to upload.

I have a pre appointment on tuesday. I'm having surgery on october ninth, and I will figure out what tattoo i'm getting this month. And I will move my shoulder tattoo with Mariah to december.

And all of this planning and being able to do things. I am in so much pain and anxiety because I can see everything that happened to her. This time two years ago. And I know what the next 8 or more months are gonna bring

I try to upload these 3 hours ago. By the way.

This is what Carol accomplished on this day 2 years ago. After being confused on and off, forgetting things, being exhausted after being at work for an hour, needing to go back home, forgetting or slurring words, being openly emotional when that was never something she did. Then, sprinkle in being able to run the whole floor at the restaurant or cook through lunch or teach.

It was all mixed in with each other with no pattern or consistency. 70% of her personality/characteristics were off of what was her normal. She was mostly tired and exhausted and so angry at what was going on in her head and with her vision.

Then, comes this day two years ago. When the computer and the printer stopped communicating and working. She was at home resting because she was exhausted and couldn't work. She came in and spent 3 hours doing this on her own. With no experience, because she always wanted to do everything on her own. 3 hours, and she fixed it, and she was so happy. She figured out the computer part, the technical part, and the physical mechanics part and fixed it by herself.

She did all of this while not being able to see clearly, while her vision was causing her to not be able to focus or stay steady or drive or do anything that she would want to do. Then, she went back home because she was exhausted and fell asleep on the couch.

We had no idea what was going on. After accomplishing this complicated, confusing task, and being proud of herself, tomorrow we would get in that big, big fight. It was one sided, cause I had no idea what's going on. She would show emotions, and yell, like she's never done before. Then, the very next day would be the start of the worst times of our lives.

Carol is smart, beautiful, amazing, and could do anything. See could do this complicated task and fix something she knew nothing about in the middle of being so confused and not being able to do daily functions because of her vision problems.

I love you so much, honey, and I miss you so much. This is so hard, and I can see and feel everything so clearly now. 😢💔

After my doctor's appointment, I went to get gaff and got a couple groceries for our house and Louise's house from Sam's Club. Then, I took the stuff home and just waited to go to Louise's. She called me almost immediately. He was ready to go do whatever we thought we were gonna do today.

I've been trying to get her to Tsuta Ramen for quite a while now and today was finally the day. She got ready early this morning so we could go to the farmer's market, but I ended up being late returning from my doctor's appointment and errands. Since we were already up and ready, we decided to go to lunch, and Tsuta Ramen is where I took her. Actually, she took me there, because lunch was her treat.

Since Louise had never been here before, we decided to just take our time looking at the whole menu. I tried to describe everything the best I could. I at least knew everything that was not spicy. While doing that JoJo spent some time talking to us and getting to know Louise. We obviously talked about Carol a little bit.

We eventually made up our mind. Louise got the Chicken Stir Fry Ramen, and I got the Char-Siu Ramen. Look at the menu for the descriptions cos. I have other things to type about. We got other things that we did not order. We both ended up taking home half of our meals for leftovers later.

JoJo was so nice to treat us to a few things that you see in the pictures. A Rock Ebi appetizer, Jasmine iced tea (her special concoction that is not made for the menu), and a Tiramasu for dessert. Thank you so much, JoJo. That is so kind of you and Peter.

Thank you so much for a great lunch JoJo and Peter. Louise loved her first visit. I will try to come more often, since it's been a little bit since I've seen you. I will definitely bring Louise and/or the rest of the family whenever they're around.

We are already up here, so we took a trip to goodwill. After. It was nice to meet you Mary Z. Mary recognized me in Louise cause she went to school with Carol, and they were in band together. When we looked around here for quite a while. She windows shopped well. I walked around and talked to my phone so I could post this. We'll see if we're up to going to Michael's after this.

Yeah, so surgery is a go, no matter what. The doctor and I both agree. It's a good idea. Dr Jacob Ristow. If it happens in October, it's gonna be at one of the Fairview surgery centers, and if it happens in December, it's gonna be at one of the Tria surgery centers. Fairview is closing a bunch of clinics at the end of the year, so this particular surgeon is moving to Tria. I guess I don't care what building the surgery's in.

Now my first dilemma is, the tattoo I wanted to get on my left shoulder for Carol's birthday. In the exact spots (2 or 3) that this surgery is gonna happen. I'm either getting the surgery in October and the tattoo in December. Or i'm getting the tattoo in October and the surgery. In December. Ugh. This might be an easy decision for you. But my brain doesn't work that way. I'm totally confused.

The other dilemma is, what is the better month to have the surgery in and lose two months ability to do anything while recovering. If I haven't October that I'm kind of stuck not being able to do anything in November and December, and if I have it in December, then I'm stuck doing nothing in January and February. Ugh. One of the hardest things for me to deal with since carol died is my mental. It's just so hard to function and think clearly and make decisions.

Obviously I know what a lot of people are gonna say. The tattoo is less important than surgery. But therein lies the problem in Chad's world. The surgery is for me, but the tattoo is for Carol, but Carol is more important to me than I am to me. No need to comment on that statement, because it is what it is and you should all know that by now.

Either way, I am getting the surgery in October or December. And I am also getting tattoos in October and December. This should really be easy for me to decide. But it is not.

09/24/2026

I'm off to meet with the surgeon. I have no idea what I want any more. Surgery or no surgery. I guess i'm okay with whatever he decides. I'll let you know.

I don't understand how the body and brain work. Because I'm fine getting up and going this morning and doing whatever I'm gonna do before and after the doctor. But on other days I can't function or go or figure out to stay in bed or to go do something. And either decision lately has not made me feel any more at ease or less messed up and gross feeling.

Here is the third and final post..
I don't know why it didn't let me post all three at once. It dried for several hours in the last 3 videos that you're gonna see of today. Each posted in less than a couple minutes.

Trying for the middle video.
I wish I knew why all the social medias are having such a hard time uploading my videos.

09/23/2026

Another seven hours of trying to post a video. This time facebook didn't want to upload my videos. I don't know what's going on, but i'm about to lose all three. Social medias because none of my videos wanna properly upload.

That means i'm trying again with just one of the videos. I don't even remember what I talked about. And I don't remember what I typed, because I lost that upload and post.

Carol sent me these picture a couple days ago, two years ago she was getting ready. It was a Thursday, and she was getting all prettied up. I don't know what the occasion was or where she (or maybe we?) were headed, but she was dressing up. She's beautiful.

Next is a conversation Carol and I had on this day two years ago. Make sure you read the last text line from her. She was confused and having a rough time with what was going on with her head and her vision, but had no idea what it was, or what was about to happen.

And then these are the pictures she took later on that night when she was cooking. She didn't feel right and things were going so wrong in her head. Forgetfull when she was never forgetful, confused when she was never confused. She would never misplaced the money or forget her purse. I'm the one that did that kind of stuff..

And then a few hours later, she could cook just fine. This is Pad Kra Pao. Her favorite dish to eat, and over the last couple years, make. She loved her wok and her wok spoon spatula thing.

After being confused today, tomorrow and the next day she's able to fix a bunch of computer printer problems at the restaurant with no issues. And the couple days after that, she could barely concentrate or work.

I can see it all clearly now. What was happening to her, even though I still don't know what it was. How it was affecting her, even though I still don't know what it was. How it slowly quickly got worse, even though I don't know what it was. This had been going on for over a month, and in five days, everything would change.

Everything would change. And I can see it all so clearly now and feel how it affected me even though I didn't know at the time.

I love her so much and I miss her so much. This is so hard and so painful and she's the one that I would be going to for comfort. Think of that.
All of the worst things that might have happened to you in your life, you would go to your person for comfort. And now you can't. You're suffering in pain and they can't be with you to help you. And grief, it's feeling the pain of this every day, all day, forever.

I do, however, get some comfort, in talking to all of you. Thanks for always reading and listening, and sometimes responding to my posts (most of you).
