St. Timothy Lutheran Church Hudson, Iowa is once again sponsoring the 5k, with all of this years proceeds benefiting Hudson Days. They also sponsor the Thursday night movie on the lawn. This year's move is Sing.

Lincoln Savings Bank - Hudson is having their annual coloring contest. Stop into the bank for more information! They also generously sponsor Saturday's big wheel races and new this year, the kid's entrepreneur area!

Hudson Public Library, Iowa will be holding book relays on Friday night!

Lions Club of Hudson, Iowa is where you can find information on this year's pie and ice cream social.

Parade information and forms can be picked up at city hall or the library.

Post Prom will be hosting a dunk tank in city park on Saturday from 11-3pm. Come and try your luck at dunking some your Hudson favorites:

2-3 Ashley Smiley (who led the Hudson Pirate girls soccer team to a State Championship)

☀️Hudson kids we need your help☀️

Help us get ready for Hudson Days 2026 by chalking your sidewalk or driveway!

The rules are easy:
1. Decorate your sidewalk or driveway anwyay you want to (using only sidewalk chalk) but you must include fireworks and the words Hudson Days 2026.

2. The contest is open to all Hudson residents.

How to enter:
📸 Create your masterpiece and send us a DM of your work (any photos posted directly to our page will be deleted)
⏰ Submissions are due by noon on Wednesday July 15. No late entries will be accepted.
🗳️Voting will begin a little after noon on Wednesday, July 15th and close at noon on Thursday, July 16th.

The submission with the most ‘likes’ win!

Up for grabs are two wristbands that can be used to enjoy all of the kids activities throughout Hudson Days weekend!

Teens we have some awesome activities planned for you!

🏆 Teen Bean Bag Tournament, Thursday night at 7:00 pm
- prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams

🔎 Teen Scavenger Hunt, Friday at 6:30. Teams of two will have up to one hour to find as many things as they can! We have Casey’s gift cards up for grabs to the top 3 teams.

There is no cost to participate in these activities and are open to anyone ages 13-18.

🎤Bingo on Friday and Saturday night ($1.00 per card)

You read that right! We are officially brining back a favorite tradition to this year's Hudson Days celebration, and we want your family to be the stars of the show!

Get the kids, get the pets and let's kick off the weekend in style! Everyone is encouraged to dress up, decorate their wagons, bikes, scooters or style their pets using this year's theme:
