🍂 A Taste of Fall: Butternut Squash & Rice 🍂

Monin isn’t just for beverages! Monin Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup adds a warm touch of brown sugar and spice to this savory fall dish.

Ingredients:

• ¼ cup vegetable oil
• 1 butternut squash, peeled and medium diced
• 1 yellow onion, small diced
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 cups jasmine rice, washed
• 1 quart chicken stock
• ½ teaspoon ground sage
• ½ teaspoon dried thyme
• ¼ cup Monin Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup
• 3 tablespoons butter

Heat the oil and sauté the squash and onion until they begin to soften. Add the garlic and cook briefly. Stir in the rice, chicken stock, sage, thyme, and Monin syrup. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender. Finish with butter and serve warm.

Makes approximately 10–12 servings.
