FOUR MONTHS IN… AND THINGS ARE REALLY STARTING TO CLICK!
Four months ago, our family took the reins at Sloppy Joe’s with big ideas and a commitment to making this special place even better.
This September, something wonderful happened. All that hard work started finding its rhythm.
Our incredible staff is hitting its stride, the restaurant is finding its flow, and that means more room for something we love… getting creative!
Matt spent September dreaming up new dishes inspired by our customers. On September 8, his Sloppy Cowboy Burger debuted as a special. Then he gave our beloved Smoked Peaches & Brie appetizer a fall twist, swapping peaches for cranberries. A few lucky guests got a sneak taste, and the response was overwhelmingly positive!
By September 30, Matt had finalized our NEW MENU, which debuted October 1! More on that next month.
Meanwhile, Matt’s dad, Greg, and brother Josh have been busy improving the building, including a new kitchen door and plenty of behind-the-scenes upgrades. Mom, Colleen, has been adding seasonal decorations, making Sloppy Joe’s cozier than ever.
But some of our favorite moments have nothing to do with food or improvements.
We love seeing groups of friends make our half-price W**e Down Wednesdays part of their girls’ nights out. And the energy of Packers and Brewers fans gathering to cheer, laugh, and enjoy some friendly armchair coaching has been a blast!
And now, fall in Hubertus is putting on a show!
With Holy Hill surrounded by brilliant autumn colors, there’s no better time to explore our beautiful corner of Wisconsin.
Take a drive through the fall colors. Climb the towers at Holy Hill. Then stop in for homemade comfort food, Wisconsin-inspired flavors, and good company.
Four months in, we’re working hard, having fun, and incredibly grateful for the staff, family, friends, and community making it all possible.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re headed.
